Q: What time should I arrive for the ceremony on Saturday, October 4th?
A: Our ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30 PM, so we recommend arriving by 6:00 PM to allow time for parking and seating. Please note that doors to the Adler Planetarium will be locked once the ceremony starts at 6:30 PM.
Q: Is there transportation provided on Saturday? / Where should I park?
A: Yes! We’re providing shuttle service to and from the venue. More info to come. There is also a paid parking lot right by the Adler Planetarium. There is also going to be a Chicago Fire game that utilizes the same parking lot, so please plan accordingly.
Q: What is the dress code for Saturday?
A: The dress code is black tie. Dress to impress, but also comfortably — the ceremony will be held outdoors weather permitting while the rest of the event (cocktail + reception) will be indoors).
The bridesmaid will be wearing black. Please refer here for outfit inspo.
Q: What time should I arrive for the ceremony on Sunday, October 5th?
A: Our ceremony will begin promptly at 11:00 AM, so we recommend arriving by 10:30 AM to allow time for light snacks and seating.
Q: What is the dress code for Sunday?
A: Traditional Indian attire is preferred, however we understand not everyone may have Indian clothes. So please wear bright and fun colors! The ceremony and lunch will be held indoors.

Q: Can I bring my kids Saturday and/or Sunday?
A: We love your little ones, but we’ve decided to keep our wedding adults only so everyone can enjoy the festivities. Thank you for understanding!
Q: Can I bring a guest Saturday and/or Sunday?
A: Please check your invitation—if a guest is included, it will be listed by name.
Q: Where are you registered?
A: Your presence is the best gift, but if you’d like to contribute to our future, we’re registered at Crate and Barrel and Honeyfund. You can find our full registry here.
Q: Can I take photos during either ceremony?
A: We’re having an unplugged ceremony on both Saturday and Sunday , so we ask that you turn off and put away your phones and cameras during this time. Don’t worry — we have a professional photographer capturing every moment!
Q: What should I do if I can’t attend?
A: We’ll miss you!! Please RSVP “no” on our website or via the RSVP card in your invite as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.
Q: What should I do if I can only attend one event?
A: That’s absolutely okay! We’re just happy to have you celebrate with us in any way you can. You can RSVP for the specific event(s) you’re attending either on our wedding website or by using the RSVP card included in your invitation.
Q: Will the ceremony + reception on Saturday reception be indoors or outdoors?
A: The ceremony will be outdoors, and the reception will follow indoors at the same venue. If the weather changes, we’ll adjust and keep you posted.
Q: Will the ceremony + lunch on Sunday reception be indoors or outdoors?
A: The ceremony and the lunch will follow indoors at the same venue.
Q: Are there hotel blocks available?
A: We reserved two blocks of rooms with discounted rates for our friends and family. All bookings must be made by September 1, 2025 to receive the discounted rate.
